  7.     If you are me you are finding that you are having many programs
  8.     what will not all fit on your desktop. If this is so I will think
  9.     you will find Läufer useful as it will allow you to put programs
  10.     you cant fit on the desktop into it and then Läufer will run them 
  11.     for you !

  14.     I must tell you that you are using Läufer at only a risk to you 
  15.     if something is not right when you use it. You must agree to this or
  16.     you can not use it. This is called a disclaimer. It means that I am
  17.     not responsible for physical or mental damage when you use it.
  18.     If you are not accepting FULLY the results of your actions and saying
  19.     that I am not responsible, then you can not use Läufer. I have not
  20.     known of any troubles but cant tell what you are doing, so I must
  21.     say this.

  24.     BOXS

  26.     When you look at the boxs that are empty you will know they are for
  27.     programs to be in. You will then click a right maus button until a
  28.     file selector is open. This makes you select a program and so it comes
  29.     to be in the box. Also, a box program will also be replaced if you
  30.     file select another program to be in the box. You will then come to
  31.     save LAUFER.DAT when you are done.

  33.     LOAD
  34.     ----
  35.     When you are clicking LOAD you are telling Läufer to file select a
  36.     LAUFER.DAT file. You are also saving Läufer files to other names
  37.     and this is ok. However, Läufer will load only a file LAUFER.DAT
  38.     when it runs by itself. Because of this LAUFER.DAT must be where
  39.     LAUFER.PRG is so Läufer finds it.

  43.     Now you click SAVE and file select LAUFER.DAT. This is a file we
  44.     have talked of and so you must choose. If you are having a full
  45.     LAUFER.DAT you will make a new file name which is ok.

  47.     SORT

  49.     Now if you cant see a file you will make them like a alphabet by
  50.     clicking on a SORT button. You must also save a LAUFER.DAT before
  51.     ending so the alphabet can stay.

  53.     RETURN

  55.     So if you want Läufer to come back when a program is done you will
  56.     click on RETURN which will stay on. This button must also be in
  57.     LAUFER.DAT to stay on or off. If you are not using return you are
  58.     using the desktop instead.

  60.     If a program says GEM must clean a screen Läufer can not. So now
  61.     you must go to a desktop to fix this. After this you will go back
  62.     to Läufer.

  66.     This tells you about Läufer.

  70.     This helps you remember things.

  74.     This makes alerts appear before you will do something.

  78.     This makes Läufer go away.

  80.     INSTALL APPLICATION

  82.     This is so you will make file names go to programs which can work
  83.     as a install application. Instead you will give the file name to
  84.     Läufer so Läufer will make the file name go to a program you
  85.     will choose.

  87.     If you have the NeoDesk you will "drop" the file name on top of
  88.     LAUFER.PRG. If you have a GEM desktop you will use a install
  89.     application to make a "document type".

  91.     When this is done it will make LAUFER.PRG run. So Läufer appears
  92.     you will see  cmd: A:\FILENAME.INF  appear over Läufer. This will
  93.     be the file name you have send to Läufer from a desktop.

  95.     Now you will press a [CONTROL] key and a left maus on a program which   
  96.     will know this file name. Läufer will make this program run and know
  97.     about the file name. If the program knows of this file name it will
  98.     load it, or else it wont.

  100.     You can see in your manual how a application is installed or becomes
  101.     a NeoDesk active icon to do more of this.

  103.     PROGRAMS PATH

  105.     Hold a [CONTROL] key and right maus button on a program box to
  106.     know the full "path" of a programs file name.

  108.     UNCLEMAUS
  109.     ---------
  110.     Läufer is also support the UncleMaus CURsor file standard ! If you
  111.     are having LAUFER.CUR where is LAUFER.PRG you are having custom maus !
  112.     All CURsor you make must have a name LAUFER.CUR so Läufer will know
  113.     it. The LAUFER.CUR here is of a GEM arrow.

  117.     I guess you know everything now. I have only a STe so I am hoping it
  118.     will work for you.

  120.     This program is FREEWARE and not Public Domain. You are free to use
  121.     it without obligations but I must still own it, so you can not make it
  122.     yours.

  125.     asking that you are not selling this program as it is not allowed.

  127.     person who gets it. I would also like for it to have these file names
  128.     with it.
